The Cuogo carpentry tradition dates back to World War II when Grandpa Cuogo was making prefabricated houses for Italian soldiers stationed in Russia.
After the war, Gino decided to establish the company in a different area of Cannaregio from where it is today. However, this was not the only location.
Shortly after Gino's death in 1988, the joinery decided to move first to the Misericordia area and to San Giacomo dell'Orio then. Since 2015, the office has been located in San Girolamo, in the Cannaregio area.
Falegnameria Cuogo is familiar with every stone in the Venetian area, having worked for bars and clubs like Bar Quebrado ai Bari and large hotel chains such as Hotel The Gritti Palace, Hotel Ambassador Tre Rose, Hotel Montecarlo, but also for the Patriarchate of Venice and the Consorzio Venezia Nuova.

With the death of his father Gino in 1988, he decided to abandon his military career, marry and take over the family inheritance, thus being able to realise his dream of working in a field very close to his first passion:
Luigi Cuogo
Son
Son of Paolo, he decided to follow his father's footsteps. After studying architecture and interior design at the Art Institute, he began working in the company, learning the rudiments of the job. Although his dream was to pursue a military career, he embraced the carpentry profession with the desire to expand the family business and reach the global market.
